The post would especially like to thank Chief Haraway, Tony Fuller, and Ladder 1 B for all their help. And of course a HUGE thanks to all who attended our spaghetti dinner.

We have big things coming up soon. Our next Saturday training will be a CPR & First Aid course followed by some hands on training. On May 17Th we will also be helping with the Apex Fire Dept. Emergency preparedness day. And as always we are training Monday nights at Apex station 3 at 7pm.

March 22nd training

Our March 22nd training was a success until we started getting paged out all afternoon. The morning consisted of a wildfire class taught by 2 rangers from the NC divsion of forestry. It was awesome and everyone learned something. Then we had lunch from Danny's BBQ of Cary and would like to thank them for the generous donation of gift certificates last year. The afternoon started off well, one small brush fire off Hwy 55 no big deal. Then it picked up with a larger working brush fire off Old US1 that tied up both instructors for CPR in the afternoon. So the rest of our CPR class will be scheduled soon...
